Hi, I am Kerim Mandžo

Hello there, you managed to find me.
I am a Msc. Mech Eng currently based in Sarajevo and ready to make the switch to the exciting world of software development.

My journey in software development began on the 23rd January 2020 when I received an email from edx.org. It was the standard weekly update about courses that are about to start, but one course got me curious. MITs own 6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.

I found the course really enjoyable, but the most important part of my journey was still to happen. While browsing the discussion forums, someone suggested Codewars.com for getting more practice with Python.

And since that day I haven't missed a day without solving some problems. It is something I enjoy the most about programming, along with Algorithms and Data Structures. I managed to get to the top 0.3% of users on the site and don't intend on stopping. (Codewars profile) Shortly after I also started doing Leetcode problems. (Leetcode profile)

Since then, I have taken more courses, like the canonical CS50 from Harvard, the amazing Full Stack Open by University of Helsinki, and many more. I have learned more languages and frameworks while steadily building projects on the side. All in my free time while working at my regular job as a Mech Eng.
